Eight boys aged 15 and 16 and a single girl aged 15, were detained by the police on suspicion of conducting illicit sexual affairs in and out of school in Jasin, Malacca.
Jasin OCPD Deputy Supt Muhd Nur Hishamuddin Hashim confirmed the arrests when the mother of the girl found out that she has been experimenting with her sexuality on her other Form 4 classmates.
The actions took place whenever the family, composed of the girl’s security guard father, two siblings and the 40-year mother were away from home.
The sexual encounters went on for several months undetected until her mother became suspicious of what her daughter was up to when the other family members were not around.
Understandably, the horrified mother demanded an explanation from her daughter when she saw the boys sneaking into the house when her daughter thought no one was around.
After repeated questioning, the 15-year old admitted to having had sexual liaisons with eight of her classmates, including one at home, and the rest in school classrooms as well as an empty cabin nearby the house, with her most recent tryst happening last Friday right after classes ended, local news daily The Star reports.
The family immediately brought her to the police station and lodged a report.
The minors are being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code. which details on punishment for rape, or sex that is against the law.
This news of rampant sexual encounters among school students comes in the wake of more baby-dumping news hitting the headlines yesterday when a farmer stumbled on a baby abandoned inside a washing machine as well as shocking statistics revealed by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam that on average 50 Malaysian teens get pregnant daily, he told reporters after the launch of the national-level ‘Generasiku Sayang’ programme by the Permaisuri of Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah.-MD
