Flood: Policemen Contributes A Portion Of Salary To Victims

Kemaman – A total of RM931,000 was collected from policemen nationwide deducted via salary to help ease the burden of flood victims in the country.

 

Federal police Management Department director Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said all the 126,000 staff were involved in the salary deduction of between RM5 and RM100.

 

“We deducted RM5 from the lower rank personnel and RM100 from officers,” he said after handing over school aid worth RM26,000 to 176 children of policemen’s children affected by the flood last year in Kemasik, Kemaman.

 

Also present were State police chief Datuk Jamshah Mustafa, District police chief Superintendent Che Suza Che Hitam and all department heads. – NST
