Caused of flight delay to Singapore ‘fingered’

Sepang – A Tiger Air flight from klia2 to Singapore was delayed for two hours yesterday after a cabin crew found what appeared to be a severed finger in the plane.

The plane, which landed at the airport at about 4pm, was preparing for the next flight to Singapore when one of the stewardesses tidying up the aircraft spotting the finger, the Sun daily reported.

However, the object later turned out to a prosthetic finger.

Sources said the air crew alerted the police who sent their forensic unit to investigate.

It is believed that a passenger on an earlier flight may have accidentally dropped the prosthetic finger.

The flight resumed its journey at 6pm after police gave the air crew the all-clear signal.

It is yet to be ascertained if the dud body part was returned to its owner.
