Nightclub Worker Attacked By Men Wielding Parang, Samurai Sword

Ipoh – A 29-year-old nightclub worker was slashed by two men armed with a parang and a Samurai sword in a fight outside a nightclub early today.

Ipoh police chief Superintendent Ahmad Termizi Abdul Haq said the two men, aged 22 and 23, slashed the victim on the forehead.

After receiving a tip-off from the public, policemen in a patrol car arrested two suspects in Greentown here at 4.35am.

Ahmad Termizi said the suspects were remanded for six days and the case was being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for causing injury.

The victim received received eight stitches on the forehead at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB).
