Kuala Lumpur – A mother’s anxiety over the disappearance of her two children on Wednesday, ended on a happy note when Mohd Iman Zafri, 11, and Nur Alysysh Zafiera, 9, was said to be safe in their father’s custody.
This matter was confirmed by Johor Baru (South) OCPD Asst Comm Sulaiman Salleh who said that they were found in their father’s house at around 11.30pm yesterday.
On Wednesday, the two siblings had sought permission from their mother, Azriana Ahmad to go to the shop. They had however, failed to return home 15 minutes later.
According to a social media status posting posted by Azriana, she had mentioned that her two children who had been found by the police has yet to be returned to her.
“I will update if my children are in front of me. The children did not run away from home as claimed,” stated the status.
She was also sad with the response and slander which she received from netizens since the disappearance of her children was made public.
Mohd Iman and Nur Alysyah was reported to have disappeared since 9pm on Wednesday when they failed to return home from a short trip to a nearby store located on the ground floor of a business premise in Jalan Pinang 52, Taman Daya, Johor Bahru.
It is believed that the children’s parents do not live together. – Awani
